CDT are multi-purpose stranding machines suitable to produce Cl. 2 conductors with heavy compacting, Cl. 5 flexible conductors at high speeds and cables lay-up. When combined with the external rotating capstan CHR1000 they represent an effective alternative to rigid-cage stranders for mass production of Cl. 2 conductors with large cross-section.
